This is the second edition of Nations Cup. What do you think about this competition?
I am glad because Iceland can participate in this competition, we wanted to take part in the first edition but I found it too late.Is a competition with a great organization and is a good preparation for next season U21 official.
Do you think that the opponents are suited to that you usually planed in the friendly matches?
Finland is already one of the regular partner for friendly matches against Iceland,we wanted a friendly this season also to test some skills and tactics with a close value team and i think Switzerland it is a good opponent for us to do that! Maybe Slovakia is not a team wich we wanted a friendly this season but it is a nice group for us!
What do you think about the rule of using only 3U21 players?
Usually a maximum of three players with 21 years is exactly what I wanted for this season friendlies
Your expectations for the Nations Cup?
We hope to pass the group stage in the competition and in the end of it we hope Iceland will be againd a strong team to be able for the same beautiful surprises that Iceland U21 used.
And for the next qualifying rounds?
Iceland objective in the future qualification is one ... we want participation in the next world championship final!......i beleave that can happen!
Favorites to win Nations Cup?
My favorites to win Nation Cup second edition are : Turkey or Serbia!
