VII Edition of this event and what your's team expectations?
My first goal is to have fun from participating in this great event and try to get the best result possible during exciting games. Second thing is to gain experience for most promising U20 players.
How it was so far your friendlies season?
We took the bitter with the sweet. Perfect start against Brazil with 6:0 win, after that harsh defeat against Argentina (1:4) in a pretty equal game (both teams made 6 shoots) and a nice victory (2:0) against England which will be a very strong side in the coming season. Apart from game with Argentina where a draw was the right score or at least Slovakia should not lose by 3 goal difference, I am fully satisfied with results.
What we all can expect from your team on next qualifying round?
We will fight for WC qualification as usual. Last season we won all 10 games with 40 goals scored and no goal lost. This will be very hard to repeat, but the main goal is to qualify.
Next season the VIII Edition of Nations Cup will come who knows with your National Team. Any suggestion to this tournament?
Great initiative, many thanks for time spent on organizing this for PM community. The only potential improvement is to make it 8 week long tournament to make it even more exciting.

First of all can you tell us something about yourself?
Hello. My name is Artur, I am 31 years old, I come from Polish (Kołobrzeg), but from 5 years I lived in Norway (Oslo). In PM: I am 7 and a half years. I run 3 clubs (in Poland, Latvia and Slovakia), I was senior coach of Latvia, Latvia U-21, Polish, and now 3 years lead Slovakia U-21.
This is the sixth edition of U21 Nations Cup. What do you think about this event?
NT Cup is a great project, I once played in the NT Cup and I hope that it will be every season.
Your goals and expectations for the Nations Cup?
Be a surprise and win. But seriously I count on a place in the TOP 10.
Favourites to win Nations Cup?
Portugal, Romania, Hungary, this can be a podium.

This is the second edition of Nations Cup. What do you think about this competition?
This competition add some prestige to friendly games, gives a chance to play with the best NT in the world.
Do you think that the opponents are suited to that you usually planed in the friendly matches?
I guess so.All teams in group are similary ranked which makes them suit my preference.
What do you think about the rule of using only 3U21 players?
I accept this rule and find rational as the way of qualifying campaign preparation.
Your expectations for the Nations Cup?
Win it... joking
I hope to find some good players and get some rank points the same time. Qualifying stage is a priority.
And for the next qualifying rounds?
To make some suprise against Group A team
Favorites to win Nations Cup?
Looking at last campains Turkey is a main favourite, but Romania and Italy would be great as well.

This is the first edition of 16 Nations Cup. What do you think about this idea?
I think this idea is great. It gives a chance to have some more fun in friendly games phase of season and to find some good opponents to play with. It is also give chance for smaller countries to promote itself.
Do you think the cup could continue in future?
Of course. In future It could attract more teams and more supporters.
How they ran so far the friendly games of your team?
We played 3 games against last WC participats and noticed one win (4-0 with Paraguay), one draw (0-0 with Spain) and one lost (1-3 with 16NC group opponent - Romania), which in my opinion is not so bad for a team that during last qualifying stage was seeded in the last - 6th pot.
Expectations for the 16 Nations Cup?
We would like to fight for top 8, but each point will be succes for Slovakia.
And for the qualifying rounds after this competition?
Last time was 3rd with teoretical chances for promotion to the last round. This time I hope for the same: make some suprises
Favourites to win 16 Nations Cup?
Probalby it will be boring what I'll say, but typically the favourits to me are: Romania, Spain, Portugal, Grecce. It's to early to point any challenger after 3 friendly matches.
Any idea to see implemented in future editions of this cup?
By now, everything looks perfect
