This is the second edition of Nations Cup. More teams, more fun expected for all. What are the reasons that made your team take part of this tournament?
The Main Reason is experience. We were apart of the first Nations Cup and while we weren't exactly the best team, we have a point to prove.
For you which will be a good result to your team?
A good result for us would be to be competitive. We have a tough group but can target games like the Algeria and Venezuela games to get a few points.
Favorites to win the Nations Cup?
That's a Tough One. I'll go with Turkey or Brazil.
Would you like to have and join in next editions of Nations Cup?
I'm hoping NZL gets invited every time it's on. It's a great competition, well run by the organizers and serves it purpose extremely well.

This is the second edition of Nations Cup. What do you think about this competition?
It is a good competition for those teams that do not want to deal with the stress off arranging friendly's. Also for those that like to use young players like I do with New Zealand
Do you think that the opponents are suited to that you usually planed in the friendly matches?
I guess so, I'm new at U21 and I don't know the real quality of the U21 teams yet, but for my young New Zealand squad I would probably have challenged low ranking teams. So it is not such a bad draw
What do you think about the rule of using only 3U21 players?
Great! New Zealand is playing with young players anyhow, so for us it is less of a disadvantage that the other team will not play with 21 year old players
Your expectations for the Nations Cup?
Not much, I just use it for the reasons mentioned above. I hope to have at least one win ;)
And for the next qualifying rounds?
New Zealand is not a country that can qualify for the world cup, but we will try not to end last in the group, and maybe do a little suprise

This is the first edition of 16 Nations Cup. What do you think about this idea?
I think it is a great idea. Especially with the addition of some of the lesser countries like New Zealand, it gives them something to aim for in the future.
Do you think the cup could continue in future?
Too early to say at this time. It will be one of those "Wait and See" things.
Expectations for the 16 Nations Cup?
To compete. The Nations Cup is going to be extremely difficult for us, that we are aware off but I know the NZL U-21 Manager will do everything he can to make us look better then we are.
Favourites to win 16 Nations Cup?
I would say Portugal would be one of the favorites, as well as Romania. If I was to think outside the usual suspects though, I reckon Saudi Arabia could pull off an upset.
Any idea to see implemented in future editions of this cup?
This is best asked at the end of the competition as you can't judge anything until you see it.

It's a good idea. Here each team can try their players with some competition.

Yes, why not? is a interesting project, a new opportunity for have more tournament in this seasons.
How they ran so far the friendly games of your team?
I must say that i liked the performance of my guys, two excellent draw with Algeria and Australia, teams with a better players than us, and a defeat vs Italy. Unfortunately in the last match, they had injured my 3 players, and we finished the match in 9 men.
Expectations for the 16 Nations Cup?
I think that is a opportunity for know new zealand, i not think that we can arrive in a advanced rounds, but now we are here and all pm community will know our Nations.
And for the qualifying rounds after this competition?
My objective? Collect many ranking points and convocate more players.
Favourites to win 16 Nations Cup?
I think that Romania it's to this day better U21 team.
Any idea to see implemented in future editions of this cup?
If is possible, to create a tournament for little nations, so also all this nations have a chance to win a competitions with the promotion in the first league. (if the team choose of register for the next tournament.)
