Queridos amigos, antes que nada les deseo felices fiestas y que todos sus proyectos se cumplan, en cuanto al mundial estamos en la mitad de un proceso llamado: "Clasificacion al Mundial" que nos trazamos mas o menos hace 6 meses y somos muchos los voluntarios que perseguimos este sueño, siendo una comunidad con muy pocas personas, todas ellas estan calificadas para que Paraguay alcance este objetivo, los resultados estan a la vista, somos el 18º en el mundo, esto habla de la capacidad y compromiso de los managers paraguayos y extranjeros que nos estan dando la mano, en fin, creemos que esta sera la ocasion en que nuestro pequeño pero poderoso pais clasifique al mundial por primera vez!!! VII Edition of this event and what your's team expectations?
In this group 1 Holland is the very big favorite with Israel as the outsider. Paraguay with Bolivia seems logically destined to fight for 3rd place in the group but we will try to do our best to try to thwart the predictions.
For my first round with the U20 alone, the Holande has a group of 22 very impressive players and is scary with three U21s ....... it will be very hard for Paraguay
How it was so far your friendlies season?
The first three friendly matches, as in each new season, allow a new generation to be taken in hand, a staff review and a test of the 20 and 19 year olds.
For Paraguay, it's easy, we tinker with a lot given the lack of young players resulting from a big lack of team managers and training centers in the country unfortunately.
But we stay positive and we try to make the best of the available players.
Our first friendly match against France leaves me with regret with a 3.3 draw while Paraguay led three times, we are tied in the last minutes of the match.
I would have loved to beat Delcampo so much :-)
Second friendly and second draw 0.0 in Denmark, yesterday we close with a victory against Australia.
What we all can expect from your team on next qualifying round?
For a nation like Paraguay simply succeeding in qualifying for a U21 world cup it's like winning the world cup final believe me and I say this seriously, I have already reached the grail and won the world cup U21 with France, I also lost a U21 world cup final ..... but for my first mandate with Paraguay, succeeding in qualifying the country for the world cup was really a huge satisfaction.
Everything will depend on the group in which we will be assigned for the next qualifications.
And above all, find the right strategy to face teams that will be on paper superior to Paraguay.
We only have 11 active teams in Paraguay and again with managers who connect 2-3 times a month just how can we compete on equal terms ??????
I invested 4 farm teams so that the country survives and can hope to perform at a minimum, but it is never impossible we will be able to fight against the giants of PM that are Slovakia, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Poland or Italy.
Even in the wildest dreams it is totally impossible and utopian.
I take pleasure in trying to resist and do the best possible against the biggest teams, don't worry, it's more attractive and motivating for me than a manager who has super young people and who has problems choosing who to align in his eleven at the start, he has such excellent players at his disposal.
Me it is quite the opposite and I am not complaining I knowingly chose Paraguay to have an experience of this kind after a title of U21 world champion, it allows I think to keep you at the highest international level because you must really work and not live on your achievements and your past. You have to challenge yourself to get the best out of the few players you have and that's really motivating.
I hope Paraguay will qualify for the next U21 World Cup we will do everything for.
Next season the VIII Edition of Nations Cup will come who knows with your National Team. Any suggestion to this tournament?

This is the second edition of Nations Cup. What do you think about this competition?
I think this tournament is very good because this part of the friendly games makes it very interesting.
Do you think that the opponents are suited to that you usually planed in the friendly matches?
I'm not planning to make my opponents are from top 20, but I hope a good result. This is seen if we can against the best.
What do you think about the rule of using only 3 U21 players?
A very good rule, because the U-20 players gain more experience.
Your expectations for the Nations Cup?
I do not expect great results, it is important to find the best players for the upcoming qualifying

Group F is much easier.
